Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit them. They are used to recognise the user and remember information about their visit, such as language preferences or login details.
2. Which cookies does this website use?
The website www.fetinet.cat uses a single technical cookie, and only if you change the language with the selector in the footer:
- fetinet_lang: remembers the language you chose (Catalan, Spanish or English) so the home page opens in it on later visits. It is set by this website, lasts one year and holds no personal data.
If you have not chosen a language, the home page is shown in the language set in your browser, without storing anything on your device. The website uses no tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.
The contact form is protected with Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that works without cookies (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Legal basis
The fetinet_lang cookie only stores a preference you chose yourself (the language) and is exempt from consent under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE). That is why no cookie banner is shown.
4. How to manage cookies
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Below are the settings links for the most common browsers:
— Google Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
— Mozilla Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
— Safari: Settings > Privacy
— Microsoft Edge: edge://settings/privacy
5. Updates
This cookie policy may be updated in line with regulatory changes or the use of new technologies on the website. If cookies that are not strictly necessary are added in the future, a prior consent system will be put in place.
